The Problems With Believing That There is Only One "Coming"

If one thinks that the Rapture takes place at the same time the Revelation does, that creates some problems. The first one is: Jesus Himself told the Believers to "watch." Paul told the Christians of his day that they should be "waiting for", "patient (patiently) waiting for", "looking for" Jesus' return (coming). There is no point in looking for His return if the Rapture happens at the same time as the Revelation (as some think it does). He cannot come back to earth until after the 7 seals, the 7 trumpet judgments, the 7 vial judgments, and a whole lot more between, have taken place. Those things have to take place first if this is correct, which it's not. Of that I am sure.

By the way, the phrase "if this is correct" is referring to the Rapture and the Revelation happening at the same time. So, if it is as I say, the Rapture takes place before the tribulation period, then the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, and the 7 vials will happen after the Rapture. Whereas, if the Rapture and the Second Coming were to take place together, at the same time, then those judgments would have to happen first, before the Rapture.

The second problem in believing that the Rapture and the Revelation occur at the same time is: the Church, the Christians, would know the exact day of Jesus' return and that God has not allowed (Matt. 24: 36, 42). You see, once the tribulation period starts, with the opening of the first seal, and the Antichrist makes his appearance, he will make a covenant (treaty) with the Jews/Israelites. This marks the beginning of the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel. That will be the first day when the first seal is broken. The Bible tells us that the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel, is divided into two halves, each half lasting 1260 days. All we would have to do is count off 1260 days + 1260 days, which equals 2520 days. Then add those 30 days and 45 days that Daniel 12: 11 and 12 refer to and that would be the exact day the Lord Jesus returns. (1260 days, last half, plus 30 days = 1290 days) (1260 days, last half, plus those 30 days + an additional 45 days = 1335 days) (30 days + 45 days = 75 days) (75 days plus those 2520 days equal a total of 2595 days). So, 2595 days after the first seal is opened, Jesus will come back in that event that we commonly call the Revelation or Second Coming. (It has to do with Jesus' appearing in the sky as He comes to earth riding His white horse. See Revelation 19: 11, Acts 1: 11.). You will know the exact day of His return in advance, and the Bible tells us, the Christians, that no man knows the day or the hour. (Read Matt. 24: 36, 42.). We cannot know the day, the hour, or the year. Only those who accept the Lord during the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel, will be able to calculate the exact day of His coming.

We believers will be Raptured (taken up) 7 years before the coming of the Lord (Rev. 19: 11) in the Revelation. Then, when the Second Coming (Rev. 19: 11) takes place, we will return with Him (Zech. 14: 4 - 5, Acts 1: 11). This happens after the wedding, and after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, which take place in Heaven.

The third problem is: the Church, the Bride of Christ, has to go to Heaven before Jesus can come back. The Church, who are called the four and twenty elders, has to be in Heaven before the Revelation can take place so that they can be wedded to Christ according to Revelation 19: 7 - 9. After the wedding is finished and the marriage supper is over, then, and only then, can they come back with Christ as described by Zechariah in the 14th chapter, verses 4 and 5. If the Rapture would not happen until the Revelation does we will have missed this event. So, the Church, the Bride of Christ, the four and twenty elders, have to be in Heaven prior to the Lord's coming in the sky riding His white horse. (See Rev. 19: 11, Zech. 14: 4 - 5, Acts 1: 11.). (Refer also to The Wedding and Marriage Supper and "The Bride of Christ, the Wedding, and the Marriage Supper".).
