The Rapture, the Resurrection, and the Crowns of Rewards Cannot Take Place When the Second Advent (The Second Coming of Christ) Happens

The Rapture, the resurrection, and the giving of crowns of rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ, cannot take place at the time of the Second Advent (Second Coming). If an individual believes that the Rapture and resurrection take place when Jesus returns to earth, and that the crowns of rewards are given out when the Second Advent happens, this would be wrong. That person would have to take Revelation 19: 11 and place it with Revelation chapter 4. Or take Revelation 4 and put it with Revelation 19: 11. In either case, this would create a major problem, which I will begin to clarify in the 3rd paragraph. Read Revelation chapters 4 - 5 and notice that those two chapters could not be separated one from another. The sequence of prophecy will not allow it. Pay special attention to the chronology. The book of Revelation starts out in chapter 1 with the Person of Christ; Chapters 2 and 3 are the Church on earth; Chapters 4 and 5 are the Church in Heaven; Chapters 6 thru 14 are basically referring to the tribulation period; Chapters 15 and 16 refer to the seven vial judgments; Chapter 17 gives some history of things that are taking place so that the prophecy can be understand. It also refers to the one world church, the kingdom of Antichrist. (The 10 toes, horns, or kings mentioned in Daniel 2 and 7.). It also mentions Babylon (Rome, the city of seven hills), and more; Chapter 18 gives additional details concerning Babylon, and tells of its destruction; Chapter 19 tells of the destruction of Babylon, the wedding and the marriage supper (which take place in Heaven before Jesus returns to earth); the Second Coming (the Second Advent); the war against Jerusalem (The enemy soldiers will gather together at Jerusalem and fight in that battle. This war will be in progress when the Lord returns to earth.). Chapter 19 also tells of the destruction of those enemy soldiers; Chapter 20 the binding of Satan; the 1000 year reign of Christ (It tells us who will reign with Christ.); the final rebellion of man and Satan; the end of the world; and the judgment of the ungodly (the unsaved). Chapter 21 talks about the New Heavens, the New Earth, the New Jerusalem, and their descriptions. Chapter 22 tells us about a pure river flowing out of the throne of God, which is in the New Jerusalem, and so forth. It also gives us our final instruction. Do you see the order of these events? You should. Now let me tell you something else.

In Revelation 4: 1 we have the Rapture. (The resurrection of the dead, in Christ, will also take place when the Rapture happens. See I Thes. 4: 16 - 17.). The crowns of rewards (Rev. 4: 4), which are given out at the Judgment Seat of Christ, will be given out between Rev. 4: 1 and 4: 4, after the Rapture occurs (Rev. 4: 1). Later on, in Revelation 4: 11, those elders will lay their crowns at the Savior's feet and worship Him. The four and twenty elders may represent 24 individuals as well as representing the Church. However, those four and twenty elders definitely represent the New Testament Church. The number is symbolic. These elders are wearing their crowns. When those crowns are given out to the Church, the Bride of Christ, they will all get them at the same time, not some here and some there. (See I Cor. 3: 11 - 15, II Cor. 5: 10.). So, the New Testament Believers will all get their crowns at the same time when the Rapture happens. (See Rev. 11: 18 for the judgment of the Old Testament saints and Prophets, and the giving of their rewards.). The four and twenty elders are mentioned several times in Revelation chapter 5. See verses 5 - 6, 8. Those elders are also singing the song in verses 9 and 10 (KJV).

In Revelation 5: 1 we see the little book/scroll sealed with 7 seals, which are the 7 seal judgments. In verse 2 the angel says, "...Who is worthy to open the book, and open the seals thereof?". But no man responds to his call (See Rev. 5: 3 - 5.). However, Jesus, the Lamb, does. Verses 7 - 8 tell how the Lamb, "...took the book (the little book/scroll) out of the right hand of Him (God the Father) [who] sat upon the throne.". What I am trying to show you is, Revelation chapters 4 and 5 are in chronological order. Now in Revelation chapter 5 John mentions the book/scroll that is sealed with 7 seals. If an individual places Revelation 19: 11 with chapter 4, or puts chapter 4 with Revelation 19: 11, which is where Jesus returns to earth, he/she has to place Revelation chapter 6, and chapter 8 verses 1 - 5 there also. Because those things are in chronological order. You cannot take them out of their sequence. The chronology of Revelation chapters 4 - 5, and the topic of the little book sealed with 7 seals require it to be so, because of the sequence that is given in those chapters and verses. Jesus, who is the Lamb, breaks the first seal in Revelation 6: 1. This too fits into the chronology of the book of Revelation. There are a few chapters that are flashbacks, and so forth, but that is not the case with chapters 4 - 9, 15 - 16, 19 - 22 (with the exception of a few verses here and there).

The first seal is broken in Revelation 6: 1. To place any portion of Revelation chapters 4 and 5 (including Rev. 4: 1 and 4: 4) with Revelation 19: 11 (the return of Christ to earth), is to place the 7 seals after Jesus' coming because the chronology and sequence of the book of Revelation leave no room for separation of Scripture and events in chapters 4 - 9.

By the way, the Church (the New Testament Saints, the Bride of Christ) has to be in Heaven before Revelation chapter 19 can take place. The Church will be wedded to Christ and eat at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven (Rev. 19: 7 - 9) before the Lord can return to earth (Rev. 19: 11, Zech. 14: 4 - 5).

Here are some verses to read concerning the Rapture.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:..."
"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (in the Rapture)." (II Tim. 4: 7 - 8)

"That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ (in the Rapture):" (I Pet. 1: 7)

"And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, (in the Rapture), ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away." (I Pet. 5: 4) (See also Rev. 4: 1 - 4.).

Note the sequence of the prophecy given below in Revelation chapters 4 and 5.

"After this I (John) looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (The Rapture), and I will show thee things which must be hereafter."
"And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne."
"And He (Jesus) that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight (color) like unto an emerald."
"And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."
"And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." (Special angels)
"And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind."
"And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle."
"And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."
"And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,"
"The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,"
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Rev. 4: 1 - 11)

"And I (John) saw in the right hand of Him (God the Father) that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals."
"And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?"
"And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon."
"And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon."
"And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God (Special angels) sent forth into all the earth."
"And He (Jesus) came and took the book out of the right hand of Him (God the Father) that sat upon the throne."
"And when He (Jesus) had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints."
"And they (the four and twenty elders, the Church, who is in Heaven) sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us (the elders) to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;"
"And hast made us (the elders) unto our God kings and priests: and we (the elders) shall reign on the earth."
"And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;"
"Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb (Jesus) that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing."
"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I (John) saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
"And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him (Jesus) that liveth for ever and ever." (Rev. 5: 1 - 14)

You cannot separate any of those verses and events.

The Second Coming of Christ

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war." (That is Jesus.) (Rev. 19: 11)

"His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His (Jesus') head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself."
"And He (Jesus) was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God." (Rev. 19: 12 - 13) (See also John 1: 1 and 14.).

"And the armies which were in heaven (the saints, the angels are coming too) followed Him (Jesus) upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." (Rev. 19: 14)

The Nations of the World at Jerusalem and the Two Beasts

"That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."

"And I saw the beast (Antichrist), and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him (Jesus) that sat on the horse, and against His army."

"And the beast (Antichrist) was taken, and with him the false prophet (the second beast of Rev. 13) that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

"And the remnant (of enemy soldiers) were slain with the sword of Him (Jesus) that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth (the Word of God): and all the fowls were filled with their flesh." (Rev. 19: 18 - 21)

No Rewards at the Second Coming of Christ

Matthew, chapter 25, does not show, or even hint, of rewards given out to any saints (The Old Testament Saints, the Church, or the Tribulation Saints.) when Jesus returns to earth (Rev. 19: 11). (The elect in Matt. 24: 31 are tribulation saints. They will enter the kingdom in Matthew 25: 34.).

"When the Son of man (Jesus) shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:"
"And before Him (Jesus) shall be gathered all nations (Only those who are alive will be gathered before Him.): and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:"
"And He (Jesus) shall set the sheep (the saved) on His right hand, but the goats (the unsaved) on the left." (Matt. 25: 31 - 34)

The Old and New Testament Saints, and the Tribulation Saints, who died in Christ, went to Heaven. They will come back to earth with Jesus. We will have already been with Him. We will have our glorified bodies as we return to earth. Therefore, we will not be gathered together as the tribulation saints, who are alive and have earthly bodies, will be when Jesus returns to earth. They are the elect of Matthew 24 verse 31, and will enter the kingdom. They will repopulate the earth (have children, families) during Christ's reign.

"Then shall the King (Jesus) say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:" (Matt. 25: 34)

"Then shall He (Jesus) say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" (Matt. 25: 41)

"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." (Matt. 25: 46)

The 1000 year reign with begin on the same day that Jesus returns to earth (Rev. 19: 11, Matt. 25: 31).

Conclusion

There is no room for any seal judgments to take place in Revelation 19. Therefore, Revelation chapters 4 - 6 and 8: 1 - 5 cannot be taken out of sequence. Do not take Revelation 4: 4, II Tim. 4: 8, I Pet. 1: 7, I Pet. 5: 4 and put them with Revelation 19: 11, or Revelation 11: 15 - 17, because if you do, it will be taking those chapters and verses out of sequence. Those chapters and verses do, however, fit nicely with Revelation 4: 4 (1 - 4) where the crowns are given out. The four and twenty elders are the Church, who were previously Rapture in Revelation 4: 1, and they are wearing their crowns in Revelation 4: 4. Remember, the Church, the New Testament Saints (the Bride of Christ), will get their crowns at the same time. (Read Rev. 11: 18 for the Old Testament saints and Prophets judgment and rewards.).
