The Philadelphia Period

The King James Version has been used for many generations, especially during the approximately 200 years referred to as the Philadelphia Church. During that time it was widely used and many were saved by it's word. Jesus told John, who wrote the book of Revelation, to write to the 7 historic churches (Rev. 1: 11) which are in Asia. See chapters 2 and 3 in the book of Revelation for those letters. These 7 historical churches represent 7 periods of Church history and also each Christian/believer during the Church Ages, as well as describing each church (congregation) on earth. It is during the Philadelphia period (lasting approx. 1700 A.D. to 1900 A.D.) that Jesus said, "...and hast kept My word..." (Rev. 3: 8) "...I have loved thee..." (Rev. 3: 9). This is referring to the church in Philadelphia, which I believe represents good Bible-believing Christians who lived on earth during the approximate dates given above. It was during this Philadelphia period (1700 to 1900) that the King James Version Bible was being used by most Christians. And they pleased the Lord. Jesus said so. However, there are some who cut down or ridicule those who use this version in our present day. Some individuals say to me when I quote Scripture from the King James Version, "Well, that depends upon what the Greek says.". If this version was accurate enough for the Christians to be saved and please the Lord Jesus during this Philadelphia period then it is still correct for me to use it to quote from and be correct in doing so. I know that there are some archaic words in it, but once an individual knows those words it becomes a very accurate translation. After all, we know that some of the Greek translations do not agree with each other. And I have observed that some individuals, when interpreting the Greek, have made some mistakes, which lead to errors of interpretation concerning a particular event, and so forth. The King James Version was copied from the Greek as other translations were. We are now in the Ladoicean Period (lasting from approximately 1900 A.D. to the Rapture), and many things have changed for the worst. We are told in the books of Timothy that it would be that way in the latter times/in the last days. (See I Tim. 4: 1 - 2, II Tim. 3: 1 - 5, 7, 13, 4: 3 - 4.).
