One Does Not Have to Know "Greek" to Interpret Scripture

Knowing "Greek" would be helpful in some areas of Biblical studies. However, as one studies the Bible one can understand subjects the Scriptures talk about without knowing Greek. Whether it is in the study of Bible prophecy, or in the areas of the fundamentals (essentials, doctrines) of the faith. Or in almost any area of Bible study for that matter. I have found this true in studying the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the blood atonement, the virgin birth, Jesus' coming in the Rapture, or in the Revelation/Second Coming. In the book of Revelation, and in some of the other chapters and verses that are in various books of the Bible, one can study about the crowns of rewards, the four and twenty elders in Heaven, the 7 seals, the 7 trumpet judgments, the 7 vial judgments, the War Against Jerusalem, the various Days (days) of the Lord, the end of the Word, the Great White Throne Judgment, and a whole lot more without reading or studying the Greek language. It may be helpful, but not a necessity. If you will read my manuscripts and consider what they are saying, then, I believe, you will begin to agree with me. If one says that you have to know the Greek language to understand Scripture, then he is suggesting that only people who have degrees in Greek, and perhaps in Hebrew also, can know what the Bible teaches (says).

However, the Bible tells us that it is the Holy Spirit that makes the Scripture real to us. (Read John 14: 26, 16: 7 - 8, 13, Acts 17: 11, Rom. 10: 17, I Cor. 2: 9 - 10, 12 - 14, 16, Eph. 6: 12 - 14, 16 - 17, I Thes. 2: 13, II Tim. 2: 15, 3: 15 - 16, Heb. 4: 16.). There are some individuals who study Greek, and Hebrew as well, who do not always find and teach the truth. I find some of them teaching wrong things concerning the Rapture, the Revelation/Second Coming, and other portions of Scripture. There are others who teach false doctrines, even in some cases denying the fundamentals (essentials) of the faith. But on the other hand, there are many who teach the Bible correctly, some of those do not have a lot of education. Every Believer in Christ can interpret the Scripture. However, not all interpret it correctly every time. So we must be careful as we study the Bible and tell others what it is saying.
