Three Events Happen at the Same Time

Now, the Jews (Israelites) have been cured of idolatry (idol worship) because of their knowledge of what their forefathers did in the past. Their forefathers used to worship idols and they were scattered all over the known world because of it. If the image of the beast (Antichrist) were set up before the middle of the period (Matt. 24: 15), the 70th week of Daniel, and men forced to worship it (Rev. 20: 4), the Jews would then realize (know) that the Antichrist was a false messiah. Then, at that point, three things would happen. First, they would flee into the wilderness before the middle of that period (the 70th week of Daniel). The Jews will be in control of the temple area for the first half (3½ years). The Jews will begin to flee when the image of the Antichrist is set up in the middle of the 70th week. Most of their fleeing, however, will take place in the beginning of the last half (3½ years, 42 months) of tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel, during the 5th and 6th seals.

"Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:" (Matt. 24: 16) (That's the wilderness.) (See also Rev. 12.).

Remember, the temple area will be given to the Gentiles during the last 42 months according to Revelation 11: 1 - 2. This is what the 42 months are referring to, the last half of the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel. So, the Jews/Israelites will be in control of the temple area during the first half (3½ years). They will feel safe because the Antichrist, who they think is the Messiah, will make a covenant/treaty with them. Secondly, the sacrifices and oblations (offerings) would cease. Thirdly, they would break the covenant before the middle of that period (the 70th week of Daniel) and that cannot be according to Scripture.

The Jews cannot flee into the wilderness (Matt. 24: 16 - 22), and the sacrifices will not cease, nor can the covenant be broken until the middle of the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel (Dan. 9: 27, Matt. 24: 15), according to Scripture.

Not only that, but when I started to read those verses that have to do with worshipping the beast, his image, and receiving his mark (666), I realized that those three things appear to happen all at the same time, not separately one from another. Read Revelation 13: 15 - 18; 14: 9, 11; 15: 2; 16: 2. Each one of those verses that are underlined basically say the same thing. They are: not to worship the beast, neither his image, nor are they to receive his mark, 666, in their hands or upon their foreheads. (If they receive the mark, they would be lost/unsaved forever. See Revelation 14: 10, 11.). The most important of those three things that are mentioned in the above verses is the worship of his image. (Read Rev. 14: 9 - 11, 15: 2, 16: 2, 20: 4.). That's because the Jews will not worship the image. At least most of the Jews will not worship it. There may be a few of them that will worship the Antichrist and his image, and will receive the mark, but most, if not all, of them will not.

So those three things all happen at the same time; therefore, the image cannot be set up in the temple or any place else before the middle of the tribulation period (the 70th week of Daniel). Otherwise, the Jews would flee, the sacrifice would be stopped, and the covenant would be broken before their appointed times which is the middle of the tribulation period. (Read the explanation in the first paragraph of this topic concerning the Jews' fleeing.).

Let's read some chapters and verses that have to do with the three things that will happen at the same time.

"And the third angel followed them (the first two angels), saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast (Antichrist) and his image, and receive his mark (666) in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,..." (Rev. 14: 9 - 10) (They will be lost/unsaved.).

"And the smoke of their torment (that's those who did these things) ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast (Antichrist) and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." (Rev. 14: 11)

"...and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image." (Rev. 16: 2) (Read also Rev. 13: 8.).

"And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast (Antichrist), and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name,..." (Rev. 15: 2)

"...and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast (Antichrist), neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands..." (Rev. 20: 4)

There is a set time for the image to be set up (Matt. 24: 15), an appointed time for the Jews to flee (Matt. 24: 16 - 22), a set time for the sacrifice and oblation (offering) to cease (stop), and an appointed time for the covenant to be broken. Daniel tells us that the Antichrist breaks that covenant (treaty) and stops the sacrifice in the midst (middle) of the week (of years, 7 years), and not before that (Dan. 9: 27, II Thes. 2: 4).

"And he (the beast, Antichrist) shall confirm the covenant with many (the Jews and maybe others too) for one week (a week of years, 7 years): and in the midst (middle) of the week (after 3½ years, 1260 days) he (the Antichrist) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation (offering) to cease, (stop),..." (Dan. 9: 27) (See also 9: 24.).

"When ye (those who find themselves in the middle of the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel) therefore shall see the abomination of desolation (that's the image), spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand (standing) in the holy place (the newly built temple),..." (Matt. 24: 15) (See Dan. 12: 11, Abomination...set up.).

So, the people cannot be forced to worship the Antichrist and his image, nor can the image of the beast (the Abomination of Desolation) be set up in the temple at Jerusalem until the middle of the tribulation period (the 70th week of Daniel). Otherwise, the covenant would be broken, the Jews/Hebrews (Israelites) would flee, and the sacrifice and oblation (offering) would cease before their appointed times which is the middle of the 70th week of Daniel. The tribulation saints are killed during the 5th and 6th seals (Rev. 6: 9 - 11, 12 - 16) because they refused to worship the Antichrist and his image and refused the mark of the beast/Antichrist, 666. Because that is true, it forces me to believe the 5th, 6th, and 7th seals take place in the beginning of the last 3½ years, and not during the first 3½ (1260 days).

(Remember, it is when the Lamb (Jesus) opens the 5th seal in Heaven [On earth, it will be the beginning of the last 3½ years.] that men and women are forced to worship the Antichrist and his image. But those things, the worship of the Antichrist and his image, will happen only after the middle of the 70th week has taken place and the image of the Antichrist has been set up in the temple at Jerusalem. The image is set up in the middle of this period not before that. Then the Jews and Gentiles will begin to flee. If many Jews and Gentiles are killed during the 5th and 6th seals after the image is set up in the temple in the middle of the 70th week of Daniel, then those two seals have to take place after that time, the middle of the 70th week of Daniel.).

This also causes me to believe that the 7 trumpet judgments will take place after the 7th seal during the latter part of the last 3½ years. The 7 trumpet judgments will not take place during the entire last 3½ years because the last three seals happen in the beginning of the last 1260 days, and the 7 trumpet judgments follow those seals. That means Revelation chapter 11 has to also take place during the last 3½ years.
