What About Those 30 Days and 45 Days of Daniel 12: 11 and 12?

Daniel wrote,
"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away (stopped), and the abomination (image) that maketh desolate [is] set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." (1290 days) (Dan. 12: 11) (See also Matt. 24: 15, II Thes. 2: 4, Dan. 9: 27.).

One must keep in mind that the above verse is in connection with the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel. But which half is this verse referring to? The tribulation period is divided into two halves, each lasting 1260 days, 3½ years or 42 months. The daily sacrifice is not stopped until the middle of the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel (II Thes. 2: 4, Matt. 24: 15). And that's when the image is set up also. So, Daniel 12: 11 has to be referring to the second half (1260 days, 42 months).

Not only does Daniel refer to the 70th week (9: 27), but he also mentions 30 extra days in the above verse (12: 11). Those 30 days will follow the tribulation period. It is during this time that the 7 vial judgments take place.

What awful times the tribulation saints will have gone through. The saints who survived this whole ordeal, however, will not have to endure the 7 vial judgments, because they fall only upon those who received the mark 666, and worshipped the beast (Antichrist) and his image.

Now we have come to the 45 days of which Daniel mentions.

"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." (Dan. 12: 12) (1335 days).

This will certainly be a blessed day for those saints who will experience the tribulation period and those 30 days.

Daniel also mentions 45 days (12: 12). It is during these 45 days that the enemy soldiers will begin to move toward Israel. In due time they will go to the place called Armageddon. Then those soldiers will make their way up to Jerusalem. It is there that they fight the Jews/Israelites in The War Against Jerusalem, which will start sometime during those 45 days. On the 45th day of those 45 days the Second Coming will take place. (See Joel 3: 16, Zech. 14: 4 - 5, Rev. 19: 11.). As Jesus descends from heaven (Joel 3: 16) He will fight and destroy those enemy soldiers who are from all nations of the world (Rev. 19: 21). This is the Day of the Lord that Joel and Zechariah refer to. (Read Joel 3: 14, Zech. 14: 1 - 3, 12.).

So, once again, we have the 1260 days. These are the last 1260 days of the tribulation period. Then we have those 30 days plus an additional 45 days which makes a total of 1335 days (1260 days + 30 days + 45 days = 1335 days). After the tribulation period, the 70th week of Daniel is over, there will be 30 days + 45 days which equals 75 days. (1260 days, the first half, plus 1260 days, the second half, then 30 days, and, finally, those 45 days).

And from the time when the Antichrist causes the sacrifices and the offerings to stop (in the middle of the tribulation period) to the end of that period, the 70th week of Daniel, there will be a total of 1260 days, and the extra 30 days, that Daniel 12: 11 refers to, which equals 1290 days. Plus an additional 45 days makes 1335 days. (1260 days, last half, + 30 days = 1290 days plus an additional 45 days = 1335 days) (1290 - 1260 = 30) (1335 - 1290 = 45 days) (1260 + 30 = 1290) (1290 + 45 = 1335).
